In 1900, 38% of the American labor force was involved in farming.  Today, farmers make up less than 2% of the United States population.

It’s important that our society becomes more educated on where their food comes from, especially as our population becomes continuously less active in growing our food supply.

Fifer Orchards would like to thank all the educators that spend time teaching their students about the importance of agriculture in Delaware and across the U.S.A.
