BITE OF APPLE COOKIES
(from the Fifer file)

½ C. margarine
2 tsp. baking soda
1 C. brown sugar
½ tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
¾ C. wheat germ (or additional ¾ C. oatmeal)
1 ½ C. flour
1 C. finely chopped & peeled Apples
½ C. uncooked oatmeal

In large bowl, cream margarine; add sugar, & eggs; beat well. Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl and combine with creamed mixture.

Fold in apples. Drop spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes.
