Fall ‘Delmarva Box’ CSA Program

Fall ‘Delmarva Box’ CSA Program

Our Fall CSA is a festive seven week journey as we enjoy the fall harvest and provide local ingredients that will help you prepare for family gatherings and celebrations in November and December.  This “mini season” CSA offers a great mix of fall fruits and veggies, fresh apple cider, local jams, apple butter, local honey, local pickles, apple cider doughnuts and even locally made soaps.

Fruits and veggies may include: Apples, pears, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, lettuces, spinach, carrots, radishes, beets, acorn squash, butternut squash, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, onions, cabbage and more.   On Delmarva,  we still have plenty of great produce options even into the cooler time of the harvest season.  Enjoy the journey!

CSA members are encouraged to have a guest pick up their share box any given week.  This is a great way to share the harvest with your family members, neighbors or friends who are not CSA members. If a share is not picked up at all, it will be donated to the Delaware Food Bank.

Fall ‘Delmarva Box’ CSA share box – 7 weeks  = $30 / week

Looking for extra goodies to compliment your fruits and vegetables?  Each week, members are given the opportunity to select à la carte items via the member web store. Simply login to your member account and shop the items that are updated weekly in the store.  Examples may include: local honey, apple butter, local cheeses, pickles, meats, eggs, breads and other local food items. You’ll also find seasonal bulk produce specials when crops are plentiful. Our CSA members can truly and directly connect to their ‘local foodshed’ through partnerships that Fifer Orchards has built with other local businesses.

Online sign-up – We use software called Farmigo designed specifically for CSA farms.  It is tailored to handle all the data associated with managing the logistics and payment for the CSA.  The Farmigo program also enables better communication and information sharing between our farm and our members.  As a member you will have your own password which enables you to view your account history, check your account balance, pay online, add-on extra items and change your pick-up location.  The Farmigo system is very safe, encrypted and secure.

What payment types are accepted?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, debit cards, or personal checks are all acceptable.

Please call Jessica (CSA coordinator) at 302-697-2141 with any questions about the program.
