2011 Theme: Gourds Galore |
This years theme, Gourds Galore, focuses on the wide variety of fruits that are memebers of the gourd family. This family of plants includes about 118 genus and 845 species . The stations inside the maze will educate students about the biological classification of plants and how vast gourd members including: melons, squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, cantaloupe and more are a part of this family. |
