Nothing beats a strawberry straight from the patch.  Bring the whole family out and "fill your bucket" with the reddest and sweetest strawberries you can find.  It's a lot of fun and you'll be rewarded for your efforts.  Come enjoy a spring day at the farm!  Call for pricing and more information.

Picking Tips:

Make sure to pick only the red strawberries.  Any berry with white or green will be not be fully sweet.  Strawberries are one of the fruits that do not ripen after they are picked, so be sure to pick only mature berries. Size is not an important characteristic.  Small red berries taste just as good as large red berries.  Again, color is the most important quality to look for.

Freezing Tips:

Simply wash and drain well on paper towel. Place the berries in your freezer on a cookie sheet single layered. After frozen, store in containers.  The berries are good for up to 1 year in the freezer.  Great for smoothies!
